I cruised through three transit stations today, looking for a new place to set up and play.
Along the way I saw two guitar players, two saxophone players and a bass player. Some were incredible. The spot I ended up playing (Powell station, near the mall entrance) was not the best. I sat there because I had explored for a long time and needed to get home for dinner. People walked by one or two at a time, but they seemed nice. I enjoyed their company.
I made $4.16 in about 35 minutes. I butchered the lyrics to Johnny B. Goode, and played “Hallelujah” for the first time. All in all, it was a nice day.
